وَأنتَ يا صاحِ سرُّ العالمينَ مَعا
Why do I see you dependent on others,
Why do I see you in need of strangers?
when you, my friend, are the secret of the worlds combined?
You, O possessor of the secret of the two worlds together.

Keep your being above aspiring to anyone
Sanctify your existence to transcend anyone,
except the One who brought things into being, originating them.
Except the One who originated all things as Creator.

فَدَعso leave جَهولاًa fool يُعانيstruggling with الحِرصَgreed وَالطَمَعاand covetousness
فَدَع جَهولاً يُعاني الحِرصَ وَالطَمَعا
Whatever He wills comes to be, and whatever He does not is impossible.
What He willed came to be, what not, it cannot be,
So leave the fool to struggle with greed and covetousness.
So leave the ignorant to suffer greed and vain hopes.
