أَجَلُّgreatest شَفيعٍintercessor لَيسَis not يُمكِنُpossible رَدُّهُturning him away
أَجَلُّ شَفيعٍ لَيسَ يُمكِنُ رَدُّهُ
دَراهِمُdirhams بيضٌwhite للجُروحِfor wounds مَراهمُsalves
دَراهِمُ بيضٌ للجُروحِ مَراهمُ
The greatest intercessor, who cannot be turned away,
The best intercessor, his petition cannot be rejected
is white dirhams, salves for wounds.
White dirhams are a balm for wounds
تُصَيّرthey make صَعبthe difficult part of الأَمرِthe matter أَسهلeasiest ماwhat أَرىI see
تُصَيّر صَعب الأَمرِ أَسهل ما أَرى
وَتَقضيand they fulfill لباناتِwishes الفَتىthe young man وَهوَwhile he نائِمُis asleep
وَتَقضي لباناتِ الفَتى وَهوَ نائِمُ
They make a difficult matter the easiest thing I see,
Make the most difficult matter seem easy in my view
And fulfill the young man's wishes while he sleeps.
And fulfill the desires of the youth while he sleeps
