أَباحَنا وَصلَهُ المَحبوبُ في دارِه

أَباحَنا وَصلَهُ المَحبوبُ في دارِه

وَلاحَ كَالشَمسِ حُسناً وَقتَ إِبدارِه

وَلاحَ كَالشَمسِ حُسناً وَقتَ إِبدارِه

The beloved granted us union with him in his home.

And shone like the sun in beauty as he waxed full.

فَقُلتُ للنَفسِ هَذا وَقتُهُ دارِه

أورِد لَهُ عَسجَداً مِن قَبلِ إِصدارِه

So I said to my soul: This is his moment—humor him.
