بِعَينيكَby your two eyes إِنَّindeed السِحرَthe magic مِنهاfrom them يُؤثِّرُtakes effect
بِعَينيكَ إِنَّ السِحرَ مِنها يُؤثِّرُ
People’s eyes grew sore and inflamed, stricken
People's eyes have become inflamed, afflicted
by your two eyes—for the magic in them surely takes effect.
By your two eyes—indeed, their magic takes effect.
وَكَمand how often أَثَّرَتaffected عَيناكَyour two eyes فيupon أَعيُنِthe eyes الوَرىhumankind
وَكَم أَثَّرَت عَيناكَ في أَعيُنِ الوَرى

إِلى أَن غَدَت في نَفسِها تَتَأَثَّرُ
How often your eyes have left their mark upon the eyes of humankind,
And how often your two eyes have afflicted the eyes of humankind,
until your eyes themselves began to feel the effect.
Until they themselves came to suffer the effects.
كَذاlikewise الصارِمُthe sharp sword الصَّمصامُthe unbending blade إِنif دامَcontinues قاطِعاًcutting
كَذا الصارِمُ الصَّمصامُ إِن دامَ قاطِعاً

يَصِر فيهِ مِنهُ عِندَ ذاكَ تَأثُّرُ
So too the keen, unyielding sword, if it keeps on cutting,
Likewise, the sharp, unbending sword, if it keeps cutting,
will itself then be worn by all that cutting.
Then, at that point, suffers damage from itself.
