I set out walking toward someone, and was told

By my heart where its beloved sat—and it did not lie.

So I came to him and saw the branch standing straight,

And the gazelle turning to look, and the full moon being watched.

Who told the heart that love had its seat

There? A secret that drew it told it so.

I used to deny that anyone knew the unseen,

Until I saw that my heart knew the unseen.
