He gave us a branch of fresh myrtle—
He gifted us a branch from the blossoming myrtle
the chief of judges, companion of generosity and valor.
The most just judge, ally of generosity and elegance

When he saw my sickness, he sent it with a fawn,
When he saw my illness he gifted it with freshness
sweet in his unjust reproaches, who became the healer, the physician.
Sweet picking, so it became the healing myrtle
