صَبابةُinfatuation المَرءِa man's بِالأَحداثِwith youths مُذهِبَةٌruinous
صَبابةُ المَرءِ بِالأَحداثِ مُذهِبَةٌ
لِلدينto faith وَالمالِand wealth فَاحذَرso beware صُحبَةَthe company of الحَدَثِa youth
لِلدين وَالمالِ فَاحذَر صُحبَةَ الحَدَثِ
A man's infatuation with youths is ruinous
to faith and wealth; so beware the company of a youth.
كَفىit suffices مِنby way of الذَمِّcensure وَالتَنفيرِand deterrence أَنَّهُمُthat they
كَفى مِن الذَمِّ وَالتَنفيرِ أَنَّهُمُ
سَمَّوهُthey named him باسمِby the name of الَّذيthat which يُبدِيهِhe brings forth مِنof خَبَثِfilth
سَمَّوهُ باسمِ الَّذي يُبدِيهِ مِن خَبَثِ
For censure and deterrence, it suffices that they
named him after the filth he brings forth.
