شَرُفَ الشامُ وَاِستَنارَت رباه
بِإِمامthrough the imam الأَئمةthe imams ابنِson of الفَصيحِal-Fasih
بِإِمام الأَئمة ابنِ الفَصيحِ
Al-Sham has gained honor, and its hills have shone,
The Levant is honored and its lands are enlightened
Through the imam of imams, Ibn al-Fasih.
By the Imam of Imams, the son of the eloquent one
كُلَّevery يَومٍday لَهُhe has دُروسُlessons عُلومٍsciences
كُلَّ يَومٍ لَهُ دُروسُ عُلومٍ
بِلِسانٍwith a tongue عَذبٍsweet وَفِكرٍand thought صَحيحِsound
بِلِسانٍ عَذبٍ وَفِكرٍ صَحيحِ
Each day he gives lessons in the sciences,
Every day he gives lessons in various branches of knowledge
With a sweet tongue and sound thought.
