هُوَit is العلمknowledge لاnot كَالعلمlike knowledge شَيءٌa thing تُراوِدهyou seek it
هُوَ العلم لا كَالعلم شَيءٌ تُراوِده
لَقَدindeed فازَhas triumphed باغيهits seeker وَانجحand has succeeded قاصِدُهits pursuer
لَقَد فازَ باغيه وَانجح قاصِدُه
It is knowledge—nothing you seek is like knowledge.
Knowledge has no peer, no suitor can deceive her,
Indeed, its seeker has triumphed, and its pursuer has succeeded.
He who seeks finds her, and his quest is crowned.
