إِنَّindeed عَدِيّاAdi نَفَشَتpuffed up لِحاهاits beards
إِنَّ عَدِيّا نَفَشَت لِحاها
وَظَلَّمَتand accused of injustice فيregarding حَقِّهاits due أَخاهاits brother
وَظَلَّمَت في حَقِّها أَخاها
Indeed, Adi has puffed up its beards,
Indeed Adia's cheeks have become skinnier
and accused its brother of injustice over its due.
And in her right, her brother has wronged her
لاmay not يَرَنيsee me اللَهُGod كَماas أَراهاI see it
لا يَرَني اللَهُ كَما أَراها
May God not see me as I see it.
May Allah not show me as I show her
