وَماand no نِعمَةٌfavor مَشكورَةٌworthy of thanks قَدalready صَنَعتُهاI have bestowed it
وَما نِعمَةٌ مَشكورَةٌ قَد صَنَعتُها
إِلىto غَيرِother than ذيone possessing شُكرٍgratitude بِمانِعَتيpreventing me أُخرىanother favor
إِلى غَيرِ ذي شُكرٍ بِمانِعَتي أُخرى
And no favor worthy of thanks that I have bestowed
on one without gratitude will keep me from bestowing another.
سَآتيI shall do جَميلاًgood ماas long as حَيِيتُI live فَإِنَّنيfor indeed I
سَآتي جَميلاً ما حَيِيتُ فَإِنَّني
إِذاif لَمnot أُفِدI gain شُكراًthanks أَفَدتُI gain بِهِthrough it أَجراa reward
إِذا لَم أُفِد شُكراً أَفَدتُ بِهِ أَجرا
I shall do good as long as I live, for
if I gain no thanks, I shall gain a reward through it.
