وَمُرتَدٍ بِطُرَّةٍ

وَمُرتَدٍ بِطُرَّةٍ

مُسبَلَةِ الرَفارِفِ

مُسبَلَةِ الرَفارِفِ

And one clad in a fringe of hair,

With a mantle trailing

With its edges hanging down,

The fluttering draperies

كَأَنَّها مُرسَلَةٌ

كَأَنَّها مُرسَلَةٌ

مِن زَرَدٍ مُضاعَفِ

مِن زَرَدٍ مُضاعَفِ

As though it were a necklace

As though she were arrayed

Of doubled chain mail.

In doubled emeralds
