a maiden wiping away the tear of distress.

for the sea is feared after long calm.

And days of glory stir their longing; their memory

endures for them among the holiest things.

They console themselves with it until they triumph

over the bands of tyrants and watchers.

the blossom of youth, overtaken by death.

are veiled by the wing of a black cloud,

but seek my healing in battle.

Love is above glory, but not the honor that

has perfumed my cloak and mantle like roses.
