يا طُيوراً بعدها النضرُ ذوى

في ربوعٍ خَلَعت ثوبَ الهوى

O birds still fresh after him

In meadows that shed the garb of passion

مرحباً حاملةَ البُشرى لنا

مرحباً بعد اغترابٍ ونوى

Greetings, bearer of good tidings to us

Greetings, after estrangement and hopes

ملأت بُشراك بُشراً أرضنا

وعَنِ القَطرِ ابن نضرٍ قد روى

Your good tidings have filled our land

With the son of Nadhr's rain it overflowed

فاسرَحي أو نقّري آمِنَةً

وارتوي مِمّا به قَلبي ارتوى

So roam or coo safely

And drink what my heart has drunk

واجمعي القَشَّ وحُوكي العِشّ في

بَيتِنا فالحَبَّ والحُبَّ حَوى

And gather grass and build a nest

In our home where love and affection reside

حَبذا منكِ حُلُولٌ دائمٌ

في رُبُوع ورَبيع ما ذوَى

Blessed long stays from you

In meadows and a spring that does not fade
