What we have encountered in the choking Barzakh.

what we endured in the suffocating realm between death and resurrection.

قد سُئلنا عن كل ما قد فَعَلنا

فارحموا وَحشتي وما قد ألاقي

We have been questioned about everything we did;

We have been questioned about all that we have done.

So have mercy on my loneliness and all I must endure.
