فلوfor if أنَّاthat we إذاwhen متناwe died تُركناwe were left alone
فلو أنَّا إذا متنا تُركنا
لكانthen it would be الموتdeath راحةrest كلِّevery حيِّliving being
لكان الموت راحة كلِّ حيِّ
If, when we died, we were simply left alone,
For if, when we died, we were left alone,
then death would be a relief to every living soul.
Death would be rest for every living being.
ولكنَّاbut we إذاwhen متناwe die بُعِثناwe are resurrected
ولكنَّا إذا متنا بُعِثنا
ونُسألand we are questioned بعدهafter it عنabout كلِّevery شيِّthing
ونُسأل بعده عن كلِّ شيِّ
But when we die, we are raised again,
But when we die, we are resurrected,
and afterward are questioned about every single thing.
And afterward we are questioned about everything.
