The white flag flutters with my breath

تدلُّit points عليهto him إذas يخفىhe disappears ويَبدوand he appears
تدلُّ عليه إذ يخفى ويَبدو
كخيطِlike the thread of الفَجرِdawn دلَّpointed علىto الصَّباحِthe morning
كخيطِ الفَجرِ دلَّ على الصَّباحِ
It points to him as he disappears and appears,
It points to him as he hides and appears
Like the thread of dawn that pointed to the morning.
Like the dawn's thread that points to the morning
