مرحَباً بالطّلوع بَعد أفولٍ
مرحباًwelcome بالإِيابto the return بعدafter المَغيبthe absence
مرحباً بالإِياب بعد المَغيب
Welcome to the rising after a setting.
Welcome the sunrise after the setting
Welcome to the return after absence.
Welcome the return after the departure
كمhow often شكوناwe lamented فرقَكُمseparation from you فدَعَوناthen we prayed
كم شكونا فرقَكُم فدَعَونا
جمَعmay reunite اللهُGod شَملَناour company عَنin قريبa short while
جمَع اللهُ شَملَنا عَن قريب
How often we lamented our separation from you, then prayed:
How much did we complain of your separation, so we prayed
May God reunite us soon.
May God unite us soon
فأجابَthen answered الإلَهُGod منّاas a favor فأُبتُمand you returned
فأجابَ الإلَهُ منّا فأُبتُم
وشفيتمand you healed سقَامَناour sickness بطبيبwith a physician
وشفيتم سقَامَنا بطبيب
Then God graciously answered, and you returned,
So the God answered us, so you have come
And you healed our sickness with a physician.
And healed our illness with the healer
