يَاO نَازِحَone far away الدَّارِhome إِنَّindeed الدَّهرَtime ذُوpossessing خُلسٍunforeseen chances
والأَمرُand the matter يَحدُثُcomes to pass بَينَbetween السَّهوِheedlessness والغَلسِand the pre-dawn darkness
O you who dwell far away, time holds unforeseen chances;
and things come to pass between heedlessness and the pre-dawn dark.
قَدmay يَجمَعُbring together اللهُGod بَينَbetween النَّازِحَينِthe two far-separated ones مَعاًtogether

God may yet bring the two far-separated ones together:
the one in the Hijaz with the one in the land of al-Andalus.
