مَرحَباًwelcome بِالمَلِكِto the king
القَادِمِarriving بِالجَدِّwith fortune السَّعِيدِauspicious
Welcome to the king,
Welcome to the king
Arriving with auspicious fortune.

Endure and live in the shade of safety,
Live in peace under the shade of eternal security
Everlasting, enduring, ever new.
Your enemies have become
فَلَقَدfor indeed أَصبَحَhave become أَعدَاؤُكَyour enemies
كالزَّرعِlike the crop الحَصِيدِharvested
For indeed your enemies have become
Like harvested crops
Like a harvested crop;
Then they returned anew
ثُمَّthen قَدindeed عَادُواthey became حَدِيثاًa tale
مِثلَlike عَادٍʿAd وَثَمُودِand Thamud
Then they have become a tale,
Like 'Aad and Thamud
Like ʿAd and Thamud.
