The horizon has begun to weep,
The horizon has begun to weep,
And the eye of the sky has brimmed with tears.
And the eyelid of the sky has sunk down.

ارسلhe let loose عينيهhis two eyes بالبكاءin weeping
For if the earth shows coldness,
If the earth shows harshness,
He lets both his eyes stream with tears,
He sends his eyes weeping,

As though he were a lover filled with longing,
As if he were a longing lover
Lamenting his passion to the air,
Complaining of his love to the air,

ماwhat اظهرتهshe showed it منof الجفاءِcoldness
Hoping to soften in her
Hoping that it would soften
The coldness she has shown,
The harshness it had shown.

Until, when he had won her over as an envoy,
Until, when she sent a messenger to please him,
She grew stern [sense uncertain], with a bashful face,
She smiled shyly,
وانتقبتand she veiled herself بالنباتwith vegetation عنهfrom him
والتحفتand she wrapped herself منهfrom him فيin رداءِa cloak
And veiled herself from him with vegetation,
And was covered from him in vegetation,
And wrapped herself in a cloak from him.
And drew around herself a cloak.
