ذكيِّstrong العَرفِfragrance مشكورِpraised for الأياديthe favors
ذكيِّ العَرفِ مشكورِ الأيادي
كريمٍgenerous عرفُهُits fragrance يُسليconsoles الحزيناthe sorrowful
كريمٍ عرفُهُ يُسلي الحزينا
keen-scented, praised for its benefactions,
Strong in fragrance, praised for its favors,
generous—its fragrance consoles the sorrowful.

أغارit raided علىupon التُرُنجthe citron وقدand had حكاهimitated it
