انَّindeed الَّذيthe one who يَرتاحdelights للأَصنامin idols لاnot
انَّ الَّذي يَرتاح للأَصنام لا
يَتلوrecites عليناto us حولهاconcerning them الاحكاماthe rulings
يَتلو علينا حولها الاحكاما
Indeed, he who delights in idols does not
He who finds comfort in idols
recite to us the rulings concerning them.
Does not recite to us their laws
احرىmore fitting بهfor him أَنto يهجرabandon المحرابthe prayer niche كَيso that
احرى به أَن يهجر المحراب كَي
يَغدوcomes to جهاراopenly يعبدworships الاصناماthe idols
يَغدو جهارا يعبد الاصناما
It is more fitting for him to abandon the prayer niche, so that
Better that he abandon the shrine
he may come to worship idols openly.
