My heart soars; if it could fly to you, it would.

I have an absent beloved; I cannot forgo meeting him.

The bloom of his roses has adorned the crystal of his cheek.

  8. وزان منضود برده لازورده

And his lapis lazuli has adorned his neatly arrayed hailstones.

And the beauty of his swaying lends grace to his supple figure.

  9. ساجي النواظر ارحم عاشقاً فيك حار

شاكي وشاكر يبذل في لقاك النظار

O languid-eyed one, pity a lover bewildered by you.

Complaining and grateful, he lavishes gold to meet you.
