يا مالكاً عمّ الأنام

يا مالكاً عمّ الأنام

بالبذل منه والندى الجم

بالبذل منه والندى الجم

O sovereign who has embraced all humankind

With his giving and abundant bounty,

وفاق سادات الكرام

وفاق سادات الكرام

بجوده بل صار أكرم

بجوده بل صار أكرم

And surpassed the foremost of the generous

Through his generosity—indeed, became more generous still.

يا غيث يا ليث الصدام

يا غيث يا ليث الصدام

ويا مروّي الأسمر الدم

ويا مروّي الأسمر الدم

O life-giving rain, O lion of battle,

And O you who slake the dark spear's thirst with blood!

من نازلك ذاق لحمام

من نازلك ذاق لحمام

ومن جنح للسلم يسلم

ومن جنح للسلم يسلم

Whoever confronts you in battle tastes death;

And whoever inclines to peace is safe.

دم يا صلاح العالمين والدين

دم يا صلاح العالمين والدين

وزادك اللَه الكريم تمكين

وزادك اللَه الكريم تمكين

Live on, O source of well-being for the worlds and the faith,

And may God the Generous increase your power.

ما أنت إلا بهجة السلاطين

ما أنت إلا بهجة السلاطين

أنشاك ربي يا همام

أنشاك ربي يا همام

You are none other than the delight of sultans.

My Lord brought you forth, O valiant one,

في منظم الملك المعظم

في منظم الملك المعظم

ترعى بعين لا تنام

ترعى بعين لا تنام

Within the order of exalted kingship.

You are guarded by an eye that never sleeps,

وحارس قطّ ما يسام

وحارس قطّ ما يسام

يا عامر الدين القويم

يا عامر الدين القويم

And a guardian who never grows weary.

O sustainer of the upright faith

للعالمين بالبذل والجود

للعالمين بالبذل والجود

يا صاحب القلب السليم

يا صاحب القلب السليم

For all beings, through giving and generosity,

O possessor of an unblemished heart,

لديك حوض البرّ مورود

لديك حوض البرّ مورود

دم في ذرى دار النعيم

دم في ذرى دار النعيم

With you is a pool of goodness to which people flock.

Abide on the heights of the abode of bliss,

في الملك من بعد ابن داود

في الملك من بعد ابن داود

يا من بك الدين استقام

يا من بك الدين استقام

In kingship after the son of Dawud.

O you through whom the faith stands upright,

وحلّ في أرضك وخيم

وحلّ في أرضك وخيم

جاتك من رب السما بشاير

جاتك من رب السما بشاير

And has settled in your land and pitched its tent,

Glad tidings have come to you from the Lord of heaven:

لك المدن والشام والبنادر

لك المدن والشام والبنادر

وأنت عامر للجميع عامر

وأنت عامر للجميع عامر

Yours are the cities, al-Sham, and the ports.

And you, ʿAmir, bring prosperity to all.

أنالك اللَه المرام

أنالك اللَه المرام

أقدم فهذا خير مقدم

أقدم فهذا خير مقدم

May God grant you what you seek.

Come forward: this is the best of arrivals.

للثغر إذ جئت ابتسام

للثغر إذ جئت ابتسام

وحق له مهما تبسم

وحق له مهما تبسم

The port city smiles now that you have come,

And however much it smiles, it has every right.

بشراك يا جم الندى

بشراك يا جم الندى

قد أبدع الباري جلالك

قد أبدع الباري جلالك

Glad tidings to you, O you of abundant bounty!

The Creator has wondrously fashioned your majesty.

النصر من بعد الهدى

النصر من بعد الهدى

صحيب حلك وارتحالك

صحيب حلك وارتحالك

Victory, following right guidance,

Is your companion in your sojourns and journeys.

ونحن يا جالي الصدا

ونحن يا جالي الصدا

والخلق من جند الدعا لك

والخلق من جند الدعا لك

And we, O remover of rust,

And all creation belong to the host that prays for you.

وطالعك طول الدوام

وطالعك طول الدوام

بالسعد قد أنجد وأتهم

بالسعد قد أنجد وأتهم

And your ascendant star, for all time,

Has traversed Najd and Tihama with good fortune.

شموس عزك بالسعود تطلع

شموس عزك بالسعود تطلع

ونورها في الخافقين يسطع

ونورها في الخافقين يسطع

The suns of your glory rise amid auspicious stars,

And their light blazes across the eastern and western horizons.

نصرت دين الهاشمي المشفع

نصرت دين الهاشمي المشفع

فدام ملكك في انتظام

فدام ملكك في انتظام

You have championed the faith of the Hashimite whose intercession is accepted;

So may your reign endure in good order,

ومدحك الدرّ المنظم

ومدحك الدرّ المنظم

لازلت في جار السلام

لازلت في جار السلام

And praise of you is a string of pearls.

May you ever remain under the protection of the Giver of Peace,

من طارق إلا سوى محرم

من طارق إلا سوى محرم

From any night visitor, save one whose coming is not forbidden.
