Even though your dwelling lies far from me.

ومنك أنا وأنت مني
Our state has grown serene in love,
Our condition is goodwill and affection
And I am of you, and you are of me.
I am yours and you are mine

For loving you is my faith and my art.
For I have made your love my religion and art

ومدّيت حبل البعاد
Even if your delay grows long,
And if your testing of me grows long
And you stretch out the cord of separation,
And you extend the rope of separation

If weariness should show in me,
Then if boredom appears in me
Then may I never attain my desire's goal.
I will not attain my wish

For no beloved is like my beloved,
For there is no love like my love
To rival him or be his equal [wording uncertain].
That equals or compares to it
وأقسمand I swear بربّby the Lord of العبادHis servants
وأقسم بربّ العباد
فلاso none مثلهlike him فاتركنيso leave me

And I swear by the Lord of His servants:
And I swear by the Lord of created beings
There is none like him, so leave me be.
There is nothing like it, so leave me be
