O you to whom the will belongs,

Let abundance flow upon us.

Bestow upon us abundance

Kindness from you is customary.

From You kindness is habitual

اعط الكئيب مراده

وردّ له رقاه

Give the sorrowful one his desire,

Give the depressed his desire

And restore to him his incantations.

And return his prosperity to him

قد لذّ له وداده

في عشقته سعاده

His love has indeed become sweet to him.

In his passionate love lies happiness.

In his beloved is his happiness

فمنها امتداده

شرابه وزاده

And from it comes his continuance,

From it his extension

His drink and his provision.

العبد طال بعاده

O best of all masters,

The servant's separation has grown long.

وعليكم اعتماده

وعليكم اعتماده

والفوز في معاده

And upon you rests his reliance,

And upon You his dependence

And triumph at his final return.

منذ جادله جواده

My heart's distress has departed,

My heart almost perished

Since its generous benefactor was gracious to it,

Since it was disputed by the generous one

وفك له قياده

وفك له قياده

في الغيب والشهاده

في الغيب والشهاده

And loosened its reins,

And release for it the restriction

In the unseen and the seen.
