إذا كنت مرتاد الرجال لنفعهم

فناد بصوتٍ يا نهيك بن معبد

فناد بصوتٍ يا نهيك بن معبد

If you seek out men in hopes of gaining from them,

If you are seeking men for their help,

Roaming among men for their benefit

then call out loudly: O Nuhayk ibn Ma‘bad!

Then call out aloud: “O Nuhayk son of Maʿbad!”

Then call out, O Nuhayk ibn Mu'abbad
