Are the jewel of men of letters,

The essence of the literary

تفضلا وأجيبا

إلى ندي نداءِ

إلى ندي نداءِ

Kindly come, both of you, and respond

Please come forth

To a dew-fresh call,

And answer my call

لتأنسا بحديثٍ

وقهوةٍ وغناءِ

That you both may delight in conversation,
