أوراقه قتنةً لمن أبصر

And a pomegranate blossom shines with its radiance;

Its petals enchant whoever beholds them.

وقارب اللون حلة العصفر

Indeed, it resembles the rose in its doubled petals,

And its color approaches that of a safflower-dyed robe.

مثل ثمار الرمان زاهرةً

لكنه منظرٌ بلا مخبر

Like radiant pomegranate fruits,

Yet it is appearance without substance.
