A garden enclosed
With every beauty newly devised.
With every beauty just disclosed
خيريهاits wallflower بخلقهby its nature
خيريها بخلقه
عنfrom كلevery نورٍblossom منتزحfar removed
عن كل نورٍ منتزح
Its wallflower, by its nature,
Made perfect by His hand
Stands apart from every blossom.
Above all light that's fanned
يكتمit conceals أسرارsecrets الهوىlove
يكتم أسرار الهوى
فإنbut if أتىcomes الليلthe night يبحit divulges
فإن أتى الليل يبح
It conceals the secrets of love,
It hides the secret of desire
But if night comes, it divulges them.
When night comes, it sings its fire
مغتبقٌan evening drinker ليسnot يرىhe considers
مغتبقٌ ليس يرى
فيin دينهhis creed إنif يصطبحhe drinks in the morning
في دينه إن يصطبح
An evening drinker, who does not deem it
Let none who's tangled see
In keeping with his creed if he drinks in the morning.
If in his faith he's free
