O master of enchantment and eloquence,

O master of magic and eloquence

Stringing pearls and precious beads,

And stringer of pearls and pearl beads,

And composer of pearls and flowers

أكرم بمولىً أجاب عبداً

أكرم بمولىً أجاب عبداً

فأقبل الدهر بالأمان

فأقبل الدهر بالأمان

How noble the lord who answered a servant—

How generous is a master who answered a servant!

Bless a servant who responded

And so fortune came bearing security.

So time came bringing safety.

So time may come with safety

وانتزحت دولة التنائي

وانتزحت دولة التنائي

واقتربت دولة التداني

واقتربت دولة التداني

The reign of estrangement withdrew,

And the reign of separation receded,

And the rule of discord receded

And the reign of closeness drew near.

And the reign of nearness drew near.

And the rule of harmony approached

وكل شيءٍ يكون عندي

وكل شيءٍ يكون عندي

ملكك يا ناظر الزمان

ملكك يا ناظر الزمان

And everything that comes into my hands

And everything that I have

Everything with me is yours

Is yours, O overseer of the age.

Is yours, O eye of the age.

Your kingdom, O watcher of time

وقد بعثت المدام تحكي

وقد بعثت المدام تحكي

جزءاً من أخلاقك الحسان

جزءاً من أخلاقك الحسان

I have sent the wine, which mirrors

And I have sent wine that mirrors

You sent the wine bearer to tell

A portion of your beautiful virtues.

A part of your fine qualities.
