عُمارةُ في الإسلام أبدى خيانة

عُمارةُ في الإسلام أبدى خيانة

وبايع فيها بيعةً وصليبا

وبايع فيها بيعةً وصليبا

Umara displayed treachery within Islam,

Umara in Islam betrayed forever

And therein pledged allegiance to a church and a cross.

And pledged in it a pledge and a cross

وأمسى يعين الشرك في بغض أحمد

وأمسى يعين الشرك في بغض أحمد

فأصبح في حبِّ الصليب صليبا

فأصبح في حبِّ الصليب صليبا

And he came to aid polytheism in hatred of Ahmad,

And spent the night aiding polytheism in hating Ahmad

So he became steadfast in his love of the cross.

So he became in love of the cross, a cross

وكان خبيث الملتقى إن عجمته

وكان خبيث الملتقى إن عجمته

تجد منه عوداً في النفاق صليبا

تجد منه عوداً في النفاق صليبا

And he was vile to deal with; if you tested him,

And he was wicked when met, if his non-Arabness

You would find in him a rod unbending in hypocrisy.

You find in him a stick in hypocrisy, a cross

سيلقى غداً ما كان يسعى لمثله

سيلقى غداً ما كان يسعى لمثله

ويُسقى صديداً في لظى وصليبا

ويُسقى صديداً في لظى وصليبا

Tomorrow he will face what he once sought the like of,

Tomorrow he will meet what he was striving for the like of

And in blazing fire be given pus and melted fat to drink.

And be made to drink pus in intense heat and a cross
