دع المنجَّم يكبو في الضلال ولا

يخدعك تقويمه المرموز والزيج

Let the astrologer stumble in error, and do not

Let the astrologer wander lost in ignorance,

let his encoded almanac and astronomical tables deceive you.

Do not be deceived by his coded calendar and ephemeris,

فليس عندهُم في كل ما سطروا

فليس عندهُم في كل ما سطروا

إِلا لعمرك تأريخٌ وتأريج

إِلا لعمرك تأريخٌ وتأريج

For in all they have written, they have nothing

For in all that they have recorded,

but, by your life, the recording of dates and the sowing of confusion.

By your life, is nothing but dates and chronicles,

واصدع بتكذيبهم فيما به حكموا

واصدع بتكذيبهم فيما به حكموا

فإنَّ تقويمهم للحق تعويج

فإنَّ تقويمهم للحق تعويج

And openly refute them in the judgments they have made,

And proclaim their falsity in what they have decreed,

for their 'straightening' of the truth is distortion.

For their calendar is a distortion of truth.
