أتانا أبو العيناءِ بابن مزوّرِ

سنحكم فيه عادلاً غير جائرِ

سنحكم فيه عادلاً غير جائرِ

Abū al-ʿAynāʾ came to us with a counterfeit son;

Abū al-ʿAynāʾ came to us with a falsely attributed son.

Abu Al-Ayna came to us with a pretender

We shall judge the matter justly, without unfairness.

We shall judge his case fairly, without injustice.

We will judge him fairly, not unjustly

نهنئه في أسبوعه وملاكه

نهنئه في أسبوعه وملاكه

فإن مات عزّينا سعيد بن ياسرِ

فإن مات عزّينا سعيد بن ياسرِ

We shall congratulate the boy on his seventh-day feast and on his wedding;

We shall congratulate him at his seventh-day celebration and on his marriage.

We congratulate him on his auspicious week and his angel

But if he dies, we shall console Saʿīd ibn Yāsir.

And if he dies, we shall offer condolences to Saʿīd ibn Yāsir.

And if he dies, we console Sa'eed bin Yasser
