ظهور رُسولِ اللَه أظهرَ دِيننا

وهيهَات تخفى الشمسُ عمن لهُ الَحظُ

The appearance of Allah's Messenger revealed our religion

And the sun cannot be hidden from the one destined to see it

ظفرنا به بعدَ الضَّلالة فاعتلى

بارشادهِ فوقَ السماء لنا حَظُّ

We won him after being misguided, so with his guidance

We ascended above the heavens and gained our share

ظَمئتُ إلى تقبيل تُربةِ أحمدٍ

وحَسبي وعظُ الشَّيبِ إن لم يَكُن وعظَ

I yearn to kiss the soil of Ahmad

It is enough for me - the advice of old age, if there was no advice

ظلالُ جِنانَ الخُلدِ تحتَ لوائه

فحسب امرئ يرعاهُ من جاهِهِ حِفظُ

The shades of the eternal gardens are under his banner

So it is enough for one who follows him to gain his protection

ظُباهُ التي أَفتت عداهُ حماسةً

وما هو يوماً عند أمته فَظُّ

His wisdom that stunned his enemies with zeal

Yet he was never harsh towards his nation

ظلامُ دياجي الشّكِّ يُمحى بنُوره

به الحقُّ من بعد الضَّلالِ له دَلظُ

The darkness of my doubting self is erased by his light

Through him, truth returned after misguidance - he is its guide

ظلفت بحمد اللَه نفسي من الهوى

دوماً وافقَ المعنى كما وافقَ اللفظُ

I have saved my soul from passion through praising God

Always matching meaning with eloquence

ظواهرُ الفاظي خلت من بواطنٍ

فعندي بما اخفيتُ من أمرها كنظُ

The externals of my words may lack deeper meanings

But to me, what I have hidden in them is like a kernel

ظلومُ فتى لم يتعظم بمخافة

فما وجهُ امني والزَّمانُ له وعظُ

Pitiful is the youth who does not revere fear

For what is the face of security when the times have no advice

ظلمتُ بجهلي النفسَ فيما اعتمدته

وفي ردّها عما به غدرت شظ

I wronged myself in ignorance by what I relied upon

And in returning it from how I deceived it, I was shattered
