بجيم جمال الله أسأل منيتي

فبلغ إلهي مرغبا لعقولنا

By the jīm of God's beauty, I ask for my wish.

So, my God, grant our minds what they desire.

وسر كمال الجيم من جيم جابر

وهو ابن عبد الله اغفر ذنوبنا

And by the secret of the jīm's perfection, from the jīm of Jābir,

And he is the son of ʿAbd Allāh—forgive our sins.

وسودد جبر يسمى نجل

كذا جابر يدعى ابن خالد

And by the nobility of Jabr, who is called a son,

Likewise, Jābir is called the son of Khālid.

ونجل إياس ذا جبير أنلنا ما

يقربنا من حضرة القدس وأكفنا

And by the son of Iyās, this Jubayr, grant us what

Brings us nearer to the Holy Presence, and be sufficient for us.
