ظِلُّ الوَزير مَقيلُ كُلِّ سعادَةٍ

يجدُ المُؤمِّلُ في ذَراهُ مُنْتَشا

يجدُ المُؤمِّلُ في ذَراهُ مُنْتَشا

The vizier’s shade is the noonday resting place of all happiness.

The minister's shade is the ruin of all happiness

The hopeful finds in his shelter a place to flourish.

The hopeful finds in its dust only misery

مَن شاءَ منشا غِبْطَةٍ وسَعادةٍ

مَن شاءَ منشا غِبْطَةٍ وسَعادةٍ

بلقائهِ يُدرِك ويلحَقُ ما يَشا

بلقائهِ يُدرِك ويلحَقُ ما يَشا

Whoever desires a source of bliss and happiness,

Whoever wants happiness and felicity

By meeting him, attains and reaches whatever he wishes.

Will attain and obtain whatever he desires by meeting him
