أَرْجى الوَسائلِ أنَّني أرجُوهُ

أَرْجى الوَسائلِ أنَّني أرجُوهُ

وكفى شَفيعاً أنَّني أدعوهُ

وكفى شَفيعاً أنَّني أدعوهُ

The most promising means is that I place my hope in Him;

I hope for the best means, that I hope for Him

And my calling upon Him suffices as an intercessor.

And it is enough of an intercessor that I call upon Him

لو لَمْ يُرِد بي ما أفوزُ بهِ

لو لَمْ يُرِد بي ما أفوزُ بهِ

ما كنتُ أدعوهُ ولا أرجوهُ

ما كنتُ أدعوهُ ولا أرجوهُ

Had He not intended for me that through which I attain success,

If He did not want for me what I succeed with

I would not call upon Him, nor place my hope in Him.

I would not call upon Him nor hope for Him

اِرحَمْ ذَوي النَّقصِ في عُقولِهِم

اِرحَمْ ذَوي النَّقصِ في عُقولِهِم

يَزِدْكَ مِمَّا أفادَكَ اللهُ

يَزِدْكَ مِمَّا أفادَكَ اللهُ

Have mercy on those whose minds are deficient;

Have mercy on those deficient in their intellects

God will grant you more of what He has bestowed upon you.

Increase for You from what Allah has given You

ليسَ الكَمالُ الّذي تُؤَمِّلُهُ

ليسَ الكَمالُ الّذي تُؤَمِّلُهُ

إلاّ لِمَنْ لا إله إلاّ هُو

إلاّ لِمَنْ لا إله إلاّ هُو

The perfection you hope for belongs to none

Perfection that you wish for

But Him, besides whom there is no god.

Is only for He whom there is no god but Him
