ووَكَّل أجفاني بَرعْيِ كواكِبِهْ
The full moon of heaven has indeed dismayed me with his rejection.
The full moon disturbed me with its brightness
And charged my eyelids with watching over his stars.
And my eyelids were commissioned with grazing its stars

So, O my heart's blood, do not be distraught at his coldness.
So my inner self, do not despair from its indifference
And O my liver, endure patiently what he has seared you with.
And my heart, have patience for what it has afflicted you with
