لكُمْfor you تاجُthe crown الأُبُوَّةِof fatherhood راقَlooked fair حُسناin beauty
لكُمْ تاجُ الأُبُوَّةِ راقَ حُسنا
وفَوقِand above الرِّزقِsustenance دُونَكُمُbefore you الرِّتاجُthe shut gate
وفَوقِ الرِّزقِ دُونَكُمُ الرِّتاجُ
The crown of fatherhood looks fair upon you;
You have the crown of fatherhood, shining beautifully
Yet the gate to sustenance stands shut before you.
Above sustenance, we are beneath your crown
تَشينُكُمُdisgrace you حوائجُكُمْyour needs إليناto us
تَشينُكُمُ حوائجُكُمْ إلينا
وكيفَand how يَروقُcan please للمُحتاجِone in need تاجُa crown
وكيفَ يَروقُ للمُحتاجِ تاجُ
Your need of us disgraces you;
Your needs adorn you in our eyes
And how can a crown please one in need?
How can a crown appeal to one in need
