قُلْ لِلَّذي غَرَّتْه عِزَّةُ مُلْكِهِ
حتىto the point that أخلَّfailed بطاعةِin obeying النُّصَحاءِthe sincere advisers
حتى أخلَّ بطاعةِ النُّصَحاءِ
Tell the one whom the might of his kingship has deluded,
Tell him whom the pride of his kingdom has deceived,
To the point that he failed to heed sincere advisers:
So that he has parted from the advice of the well-wishers,
شرفُhonor المُلوكِthe kings بعلمهمthrough their knowledge وبرأيِهمْand through their judgment
شرفُ المُلوكِ بعلمهم وبرأيِهمْ
وكذاكَand likewise أوجَapogee الشَّمسِthe sun فيin الجَوْزاءِGemini
وكذاكَ أوجَ الشَّمسِ في الجَوْزاءِ
Kings’ honor lies in their knowledge and judgment,
The honor of kings is in their knowledge and their judgment,
And likewise, the sun’s apogee lies in Gemini.
Just as the full moon is at its height in the mansion of Gemini.
