Sweeter than sipping the saliva of houris,
Sweeter than sipping from fountains of the fair,
And than suckling joy’s flowing milk,
And suckling at the pearl of joy, I swear,
والبارِدِand the cool الزُّلالِِclear, pure water للمَخمورِfor the intoxicated one

And cool, clear water for the intoxicated,
Or drinking cool clear wine in great affair,
Is sipping praise from the mouth of the grateful one.
Are words of praise from lips of those who care.
