يا مَنْ جفا إذ رأى في ظاهري خلَلاً

يا مَنْ جفا إذ رأى في ظاهري خلَلاً

وانفضَّ عنَّي أوغادٌ وأوباشُ

وانفضَّ عنَّي أوغادٌ وأوباشُ

O you who shunned me when you saw a flaw in my outward appearance,

O you who turned away when you saw a defect in me

And scoundrels and riffraff scattered away from me.

And vile men and rascals deserted me

لا تيأسَنٌ منَ المرضى وأنْ ضعُفوا

لا تيأسَنٌ منَ المرضى وأنْ ضعُفوا

ولن يفوتَهُمُ الإنعاشُ إنْ عاشُوا

ولن يفوتَهُمُ الإنعاشُ إنْ عاشُوا

Do not despair of the sick, even if they grow weak,

Do not despair of the sick though they have grown frail

And recovery will not elude them if they live.

Revival shall not escape them if they live
