ياO مَنone who يُشاوِرُconsults فيabout الأمورِthe matters تَهُمُّهُconcern him
يا مَن يُشاوِرُ في الأمورِ تَهُمُّهُ
نصحاءَهُhis sincere advisers نصحَgave counsel الزَّمانُTime وأسمَعاand made it heard
نصحاءَهُ نصحَ الزَّمانُ وأسمَعا
O you who seek counsel on matters that concern you
O you who consults with trusted advisors
from your sincere advisers—Time has given counsel and made it heard.
On matters of importance, heed their counsel
فاقبَلْso accept إشاراتsigns الزَّمانِof Time فإنَّهُfor it
فاقبَلْ إشارات الزَّمانِ فإنَّهُ
نِعمَexcellent is المُؤَدِّبُthe teacher والمُشيرُand the adviser لِمَنْfor whoever وعىunderstood
نِعمَ المُؤَدِّبُ والمُشيرُ لِمَنْ وعى
So accept Time’s signs, for it
Accept the signs of fate, for it is
is an excellent teacher and adviser for whoever understands.
