ياO غالِبَone who overpowers النَّاسِthe people بِعُدوانِهِthrough his aggression
يا غالِبَ النَّاسِ بِعُدوانِهِ
أنتَyou علىin التَّحقيقِtruth مَغلوبُdefeated
أنتَ على التَّحقيقِ مَغلوبُ
O you who overpower people through your aggression,
O conqueror of people through oppression
You are, in truth, defeated.
You are in reality conquered
ثلبُكَyour slander of أهلَpeople of الفَضلِvirtue قدindeed دَلَّنيhas shown me
ثلبُكَ أهلَ الفَضلِ قد دَلَّني
أنَّكَthat you are منقوصٌdeficient وَمَثلوبُand reviled
أنَّكَ منقوصٌ وَمَثلوبُ
Your slander of the virtuous has indeed shown me
Your misdeeds have shown me
That you are deficient and reviled.
That you are deficient and deprived
