يا منْ أعادَ رَميمَ المُلْكِ منَشورا

يا منْ أعادَ رَميمَ المُلْكِ منَشورا

وضَمَّ بالرَّأيِ أمراً كانَ مَنشورا

وضَمَّ بالرَّأيِ أمراً كانَ مَنشورا

O you who brought the kingdom’s moldering remains back to life,

O you who returned the tattered kingdom reassembled

And through judgment gathered together an affair that had been scattered.

And with wisdom gathered what was scattered

أنتَ الوزيرُ وإنْ تُؤْتَ منشورا

أنتَ الوزيرُ وإنْ تُؤْتَ منشورا

والأمرُ بعدَكَ إنْ لم تُؤتَمَنْ شُورى

والأمرُ بعدَكَ إنْ لم تُؤتَمَنْ شُورى

You are the vizier, even if you are granted a decree,

You are the minister even if given authority

And after you, if you are not entrusted, the matter rests on consultation.

And the matter after you, if not taken into counsel
