بتَ جُهّالٌ وهوجُ
Most people, when you put them
When most people are led astray
to the test, are ignorant and reckless.
By ignorance and rage,
فاعتصمso hold fast أنتَyou برشدِto sound judgment
فاعتصم أنتَ برشدِ
ودعِand let الناسَpeople تموجُsurge like waves
ودعِ الناسَ تموجُ
So hold fast yourself to sound judgment,
Hold fast to wisdom,
and let people surge like waves.
And let people surge.
