May my father be a ransom for your lovely meanings, for they
By your meanings' father, so graceful,
Have found their match in handsome words you have adorned.
They have met with words, and you have adorned,
فكأنَّهُنَّso they are like كرائمٌnoble women مَمهورَةٌgiven bridal dowries
فكأنَّهُنَّ كرائمٌ مَمهورَةٌ
فيin حِضْنِthe embrace of أزواجٍhusbands لُهنَّof their own كِرامِnoble
في حِضْنِ أزواجٍ لُهنَّ كِرامِ
So they are like noble women, given their bridal dowries,
As if they are dowered damsels,
In the embrace of their noble husbands.
In the arms of husbands, for them so gentle.
