رَعى الله دولةَ كافي الكُفاةِ

رَعى الله دولةَ كافي الكُفاةِ

وبلَّغَهُ كُنهَ آمالِهِ

وبلَّغَهُ كُنهَ آمالِهِ

May God safeguard the fortunes of Kafi al-Kufat,

May God protect the state of the fully competent,

and bring him to the utmost of his hopes.

And grant him the essence of his hopes,

ولا زالَ إقبالُ هَذا الزَّمانِ

ولا زالَ إقبالُ هَذا الزَّمانِ

يَقيهِ بأطرافِ إقبالِهِ

يَقيهِ بأطرافِ إقبالِهِ

And may the good fortune of this age never cease

And may the auspiciousness of this time

to shield him with the fringes of its favor.

Continue to protect him with its auspiciousness,

فإنَّ النَّدى والنَّهى والعُلا

فإنَّ النَّدى والنَّهى والعُلا

إذا سُئِلَ الصِّدْقُ مِن آلِهِ

إذا سُئِلَ الصِّدْقُ مِن آلِهِ

For generosity, wisdom, and glory,

For verily dew, restraint, and sublimity

if truth be asked, are of his household.

When sincerity is asked of his family
